Dr. Aimee Seidman is a board certified specialist in Internal Medicine, who also has Added Qualifications in Geriatrics from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She was an undergraduate at the Johns Hopkins University, and went to medical school at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. She trained in Internal Medicine at the Washington Hospital Center from 1987-1990, and then joined the teaching faculty at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1990-1994. She then rejoined the faculty at Washington Hospital Center and taught from 1994-1999. She left academia in 1999. Dr. Seidman was the Medical Director at Collingswood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockville for four years. She has been listed in Washingtonian and Washington Checkbook magazines as a “top-rated doctor” for multiple years. Dr. Seidman won the Saul Zuckerman Humanitarianism Award from the Washington Hospital Center in 1990. She was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 1995. Dr. Seidman is on the Medical Staff at the Wilson Health Care Center of Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, MD, and is their Medical Director. |
