Our Story

Dr. Aimee Seidman and Dr. Marcia Goldmark

When was the last time you required the assistance of a physician and were told the doctor is busy but could see you in a couple of weeks? When was the last time you visited a doctor who barely took the time to review your problem before rushing you out the door without the answers you were looking for? Well, you’re not alone. Too many people today are facing the reality of paying for rising healthcare costs without the service and professionalism you deserve.

Our primary care model has been broken for 40-50 years. Physicians are starting to realize that they have been working for the wrong employer for too long. We should be working for each one of you (the patient), and not the insurance industry or the government. The patients should be determining where they get their care, not the government and not insurance. Third parties just get in the way, and the marketplace should be the determining factor. Having health care insurance does not assure anyone will get good quality health care. Patients need a medical home. They need someone to call "their doctor", someone who is well-trained and board-certified. Patients need a go-to person to guide them through the system.

In the early 1970’s, TV show Marcus Welby, M.D. showed people how medical professionals need to treat their patients…like individuals who deserve the undivided attention of their physician. This style of medicine has been lost for sometime, until now. Dr. Aimee Seidman and Dr. Marcia Goldmark are taking a stand against the way current primary care practices are operated by creating a concierge medical service that emphasizes quality patient care, convenience, personal communication, and compassion.

Time has always worked against physicians. With dozens of patient appointments per day and thousands of patients within a given practice, the desire of physicians to spend quality time with patients is not realistic. Dr. Aimee Seidman and Dr. Marcia Goldmark get to know their patients and their families as individuals. Because they limit the number of patients in their practice to a few hundred, they get to know each of them personally and not just as names in a medical history folder.

Years ago, it was not uncommon for a doctor to make a house call, especially when the patient was experiencing a pressing medical problem. This cannot exist in many practices today. Drs. Aimee Seidman and Marcia Goldmark will make house calls in emergencies within a 20 mile radius of our office. They make it easy for patients to call and schedule an appointment – for the same or next day. Many medical conditions cannot wait, so whether in their office, or in the patient’s home or office, they will be there – 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

The medical assistants who provide primary care physicians with support to better serve clients are an invaluable part of the patient service team. Without their efforts, medical practices would not be capable of serving the patients who depend on them. However, too often the assistants are responsible for communicating with patients regarding personal medical matters. Dr. Aimee Seidman and Dr. Marcia Goldmark have made it their responsibility to personally communicate with every patient. They carefully communicate their findings with patients in a way that provides for comfort and clarity so no patient ever feels they are in the dark on their medical condition.

The doctor-patient relationship is the foundation for successful medical care.  Dr. Seidman and Dr.Goldmark take a personal interest in each and every patient.  They understand that the more they know their patients, the better they can treat the medical issues that occur.  Their patients feel comfortable discussing any issues that come up in their lives, any day, any time.  They seek and nurture long-term relationships with their patients - relationships  that are not dependent on or affected by insurance plans.
